For raw use
Linum usitatissimum
Usitatissimum: this is what the Romans called flax for its usefulness in the medical, cosmetic, and food fields. Flaxseed oil is the largest natural source of essential fatty acids of the Ω3 (OMEGA 3) series, essential fatty acids that our body is unable to produce on its own. Flaxseed oil is obtained solely through physical processes: mechanical pressing and filtration with natural paper filters.
Selection of flax seeds from certified organic crops.
Cold extraction
Excellent for seasoning fish and seafood salads, or for adding to yogurt in the morning.
